Visit our Caldecott centre for triple the fun!

This Sunday (April 22nd) we celebrate the birthdays of Darcey, Tufty and Muffin at our visitor centre near Great Yarmouth and we would love you to join us!

Our Caldecott Visitor Centre in Norfolk is home to more than 100 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules for the Summer months and visiting is completely free of charge.

On Sunday April 22nd we celebrate the birthdays of adoption favourites Darcey, Tufty and Muffin with a special birthday parade, lots of cuddles with your favourite pony, donkey or mule and plenty of fun and games for all the family. You don't have to adopt one of these three lovely animals to come along to their party - everyone is welcome!

Tufty the donkey

Our Caldecott site is open every day from 10am to 5pm until October 28th. It has an Information & Welcome Centre, Nosebag Café and terrace, Gift Shop, donated goods charity shop, Tombola and the Horse Wise Education Centre with horsey facts, displays and interactives.

The new, improved café menu includes jacket potatoes, paninis and baguettes, afternoon tea, quiches, soups and delicious cakes. We are also serving Fair Trade teas and coffees for the first time in 2007.

Muffin the mule

To find out more about visiting our Caldecott centre or to download directions, follow this link to the Visit Us pages of this site, or telephone our visitor helpline on 0870 040 0033. For details of how you can adopt one of our lovely residents and help support the work of Redwings, please go to the Adoptions pages of the site.

Please note: Both Darcey and Muffin had a delayed return to Caldecott this year but they are now back at the centre in time for their party, ready to meet their adoring fans!
