Find out What Katy Did on Sunday 27th!
It's the turn of lovely adoption pony Katy to be the birthday girl this coming weekend.
It is Katy's birthday on Sunday 27th July and we will be having a party for her at the Ada Cole Rescue Centre near Harlow in Essex where she lives. Everyone is invited and entry is free of charge as always!
The centre opens at 10am and during the morning there will be a quiz, a horse care demonstration and an appearance from our lovely mascots Red and Wings. Then at 1pm it will be time for Katy's special birthday parade, featuring her best friend Khan, some very raucous singing and lots of yummy horse-friendly birthday cake!
In the afternoon there will be a walking tour of the site, with the chance to meet the 50 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules who live there, and find out more about how they came to live at Redwings. Many are looking for homes through our Guardianship Scheme, while others are permanent residents, but they all love a fuss!
