Misfit is the birthday boy on Sunday
Come along to our Ada Cole Rescue Centre on Sunday 6th July for a special birthday party.
Misfit the cheeky Shetland pony is one of our Essex centre’s very special adoption ponies and as it is his birthday next week we will be holding a fab birthday party for him on Sunday, 6th July so we can ensure as many people as possible can attend. You don’t even have to adopt Misfit to come along and help him celebrate – everyone is welcome and entry is free of charge!
There will be a birthday parade for little Misfit at 1pm, mascots Red and Wings will be putting in an appearance at 12.30pm and there will be a quiz trail going on all through the day too. The centre opens from 10am as it does every day and with refreshments and a gift shop on site as well as more than 50 rescued horses, ponies and donkeys to meet and greet, there is something for everyone!
Misfit was rescued by the RSPCA a number of years ago in very poor condition. He was thin, unhappy and very subdued - in fact, he was barely recognisable as the handsome, strong and cheeky little Shetland he is today!

Adopting a pony costs just £12.50 a year and is a great way to support the work of Redwings and have fun at the same time. All the money we raise through the scheme goes directly towards caring for our 1000 resident horses, ponies, donkeys and mules. You can even take out an Online adoption now too!
