Oh my 'Little My', you're adorable!
Three young ponies are settling into a new life at Redwings after their owner was banned from keeping animals for life by the RSPCA.
Cute by name, cute by nature and definitely cute in appearance, three little ponies have arrived at Redwings Horse Sanctuary in Norfolk from Derbyshire.
Named by Redwings after characters from children’s favourite The Moomins, Little My, Mymble and Miffle arrived at Redwings last month after their owner was earlier this year banned for life from keeping animals. The three nameless ponies were still in her care, so she was obliged to give them up, though they were not part of the case against her.

Little My just after her arrival
Little My, Mymble and Miffle are quite nervous but seem to be settling in very well to their new life in Norfolk. Six month old Little My is a Welsh a 9.2hh dun filly; she has already captured the hearts of the staff with her sweet nature and pretty colouring.
Just as friendly despite the nerves are two-year old bay Mymble and chestnut Miffle, aged one. “We’re taking these ponies in at a young age and they have shown signs of being very willing to settle in and adapt,” explains Communications Manager Nicola Markwell, “so there’s every chance that once they have been properly assessed we could decide that they would be happiest in a Guardian home loving in active family life.
"We want what is best for every equine in our care so we’ll monitor these three carefully, give them handling training and decide what is best for each pony. They are certainly very sweet and lovely characters.”
