Double the fun with Redwings this weekend!
Visit us at Jimmy’s Farm on Saturday, then come along to Darcey’s birthday party in Norfolk on Sunday!
Redwings will be attending an event at Jimmy’s Farm in Suffolk this coming Saturday (April 26th) and we would love to see you there. The event is a Meet the Animals ‘Farmily Fun Day’ at Pannington Hall Farm near Wherstead in Suffolk and Redwings will be joining a number of other exhibitors showing a range of animals from guinea pigs to Suffolk Punch horses!
We were thrilled to be invited and will be taking along some of our very special mini Shetland ponies who were born a couple of years ago, Zac, Samuel and Moses. Then on Sunday (27th) it is the turn of our lovely adoption pony Darcey to hit the spotlight as we celebrate her birthday at our Caldecott Visitor Centre near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk.
Entry is free of charge and the day begins at 10am. During the morning there will be a horse care demo and then a special visit from our infamous mascots Red and Wings, before lovely Darcey appears at 1pm for her birthday parade! She will be given a yummy horse-friendly birthday cake and then everyone will be singing Happy Birthday to her so please ensure you bring along those fantastic singing voices of yours!
In the afternoon there will be an activity for the children and a walking tour of the site with one of our expert members of staff, who will be delighted to introduce you to our rescued horses, ponies and donkeys.
Our Caldecott Visitor Centre has over seventy acres of paddocks plus an Information & Welcome Centre, Nosebag Café and terrace serving delicious hot meals, drinks and cakes, a Gift Shop, donated goods charity shop, Tombola and the Horse Wise Education Centre with horsey facts, displays and interactives.
