Come along on Sunday for Boo's bash

Boo the Arab will be having a party at our Ada Cole Centre in Harlow, Essex, on Sunday and everyone's invited to come along!

Adoption Boo celebrates his birthday this week and this coming Sunday (17th May) we will be holding a party for him at the Ada Cole Rescue Centre near Harlow in Essex. You don’t have to adopt Boo to come along– everyone is welcome and entry is free of charge!

There will be a birthday parade for Boo at 1pm and lots of fun activities going on throughout the day, including tours and demos plus there will even be an appearance from our very special mascots Red and Wings.

The centre is open from 10am to 5pm and there is a fantastic gift shop on site as well as a café serving delicious cakes, plus of course more than 50 rescued horses, ponies and donkeys for you to meet, including gorgeous little Shetland Ruby and Choccy the donkey, unofficially the noisiest donkey ever!

Boo is a beautiful Arab gelding who was originally part of a group of horses rescued alongside the RSPCA. They were in an appalling condition and their owner was subsequently prosecuted and banned for life from keeping horses. Boo is still very nervous as a result of his experiences and unsuitable for re-homing so he will have a happy home at Redwings Ada Cole for the rest of his days.

You can adopt Boo or one of our other residents for as little as £12.50 a year. Simply visit our adopting or give us a call on 01508 481010.

For more details about how to visit our Ada Cole centre in Essex, please view our visiting section or telephone our visitor helpline on 0870 040 0033.

We hope to see you soon!
