Save your silver for a special night!

We are delighted to announce that on Saturday November 28th, we will be holding a very special Redwings Auction to celebrate our Silver Jubilee!

The auction will be held at the historic and very beautiful Maids Head Hotel in the centre of Norwich, and will be jam-packed full of fantastic items and experiences, all around the theme of ‘Things That Money Can’t Buy’…except, on this occasion, it can!

Many people have dug deep to donate prizes for the auction already, and on offer will be exclusive tours and experiences, fantastic horsey items, beautiful artwork and photographs and some amazing doodles, done by some of our celebrity friends especially for Redwings. We have gathered quite a collection of these over the last year so thanks to everyone who has already contributed…our doodling stars so far include Bill Bailey, Tony Robinson, Julian Clary and even Rolf Harris!

Best of all, we are delighted to reveal we will even be having a celebrity auctioneer who has very kindly agreed to come along and host the evening – we won’t reveal any names yet…but we know you will approve!

If you would like more information about coming along to the auction, or if you have something you would be willing to donate for us to sell, please get in touch with organiser Gemma Carnell on 01508 481015 or email gcarnell@redwings.co.uk. All proceeds raised from the auction will of course go directly to Redwings.

And don’t worry if you can’t make it to Norwich, there are loads of other ways you can join in the fun. Why not join the celebs and ‘Do a Doodle for Redwings’? We’d love to see your efforts, simply do a doodle of a horse, pony, donkey or mule – perhaps you could base it on a fav pony from childhood or if not, why not try our Adoption Club stars for inspiration? Send your doodles to: Nicola Markwell, Redwings Horse Sanctuary, Hapton, Norwich, NR15 1SP, and don’t forget to include your name and address!
